Brazil’s steel imports decelerate, exports grow in August

Brazil saw steel imports drop for the third consecutive month in August after the domestic market becalmed following strong demand in the first half of the year. The country’s shipments abroad, meanwhile, improved both month-on-month and on-year, Kallanish notes.
