Brazil's steel imports grow in November
Brazilian steel imports sharply rose both on-month and year-on-year in November, accroding to data from local steelmakers’ association Instituto Aço Brasil (IAB) and monitored by Kallanish. Meanwhile, exports remained weak during the month.
Steel imports increased by 22.3% compared to October to 198,828 tonnes. This volume was also 55.3% higher on-year.
