Brazil’s steel production improves in January
Brazil saw crude steel production increase in January. Rolled products’ output also rose, Kallanish learns from data issued by national steelmakers association Instituto Aço Brasil (IAB).
January crude steel output totalled 3 million tonnes, 10.8% higher than the 2.71mt produced during the same month in 2020 and 4.1% more over December 2020.
