Brazil steel production recovers in November
Brazil saw steel production and consumption recover sequentially in November, Kallanish notes. Cumulative output also remained higher on-year.
According to local steelmakers’ association Instituto Aço Brasil (IAB)’s latest report, Brazil’s November crude steel output was 3.09 million tonnes. This was 3.9% more over October and up by 2.5% y-o-y. Year-to-date-through-November production was 17.4% higher on-year at 33.4mt.
