Brexit debacle continues to hit UK manufacturing
The continuing inability of the UK political system to deal with the country’s exit from the European Union is making more waves for the UK manufacturing sector, Kallanish notes. The latest survey by IHS Markit/Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIPS) shows that although manufacturing activity hit a six-month high in October, there were downturns in output, new orders and employment.
