British Steel lands new long-term rail supply contract
British Steel tells Kallanish that it has agreed a new long-term rail supply contract with Northern Ireland’s national railway operator Translink.
The Scunthorpe-headquartered long steel specialist will supply rail into a series of major projects in Northern Ireland during the next eight years. The steelmaker will supply a range of rail products it says, including the so-called Zinoco corrosion-protected rail and the company’s premium HP 335 rail.
