British Steel supplies Europe first rail since takeover
British Steel has shipped its first rail from Scunthorpe to Europe since it was taken over by Jingye Group in March 2020.
The supplier was awarded a supply contract for 5,500 tonnes of flat-bottomed rail to the Finnish transport infrastructure agency (FTIA).
