British wholesale gas prices fall on lower demand/oversupply
British wholesale natural gas prices dropped Thursday due to lower demand for power generation, as high wind power production was forecast amid mild temperatures, Kallanish Steel’s sister publication Kallanish Energy reports.
The day-ahead gas was down 1.50 pence ($0.021), at 47.00 pence/therm (ppt) at 08.40 GMT, while immediate delivery gas prices traded at 46.75 ppt – a drop of 0.15 pence. The February contract was trading 0.05 pence lower at 88.35…
