Canada institutional construction investment climbs to record high
Non-residential building construction investment increased in March by 2.3% month-on-month in Canada to a total of CAD 6.1 billion ($4.5 billion), Kallanish discovers from a Statistics Canada press release.
On a year-on-year basis, non-residential construction investment improved in two of the three industry sub-sectors. The increases were 10.5% for the industrial component and 20.9% for intuitional projects. The commercial component was down by 4.9%.
