Canada's iron concentrate production, shipments decline
Iron ore concentrate production and shipment levels in Canada both fell sharply in June, Kallanish learns from the latest data gathered by Statistics Canada.
According to the agency's monthly survey of manufacturing, iron ore concentrate production fell by nearly 2 million tonnes in June. Iron ore concentrate shipment volumes declined by 1.8m t to a total shipped tonnage of 2.1m t.
