China drives Turkey's February CR flats imports rise
Turkey's cold rolled (CR) flat steel imports increased on-year in February, led by a surge in procurement from China, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
February's imports totalled 100,909 tonnes, up 6.2% y-o-y. The overall average value/tonne of these imports grew to $1,116/t from $882/t a year earlier.
