China drives Turkey's March seamless pipe imports fall
Turkish seamless pipe imports declined again year-on-year in March, on the back of a drop in intake from China, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical institute (TUIK) data.
March's imports totalled 21,398 tonnes, down -9.7% y-o-y, after a -12.5% y-o-y decline to 16,738t in February. The overall average value/tonne of these imports soared to $1,360/t from $990/t a year ago.
