China drives year-on-year global crude steel increase - again
The World Steel Association (worldsteel) says that global crude steel output from its 64 reporting countries rose again in January 2020 to 154.4 million tonnes, up by 2.1% year-on-year Kallanish notes. China was yet again the principal driver behind the increase.
