China maintains y-o-y steel demand, output growth
China saw crude steel output slip to 66.29 million tonnes in November from 68.51mt in October, according to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). Adjusted for exports, yield loss and market inventories, that suggests real steel demand fell month-on-month but continued to see strong improvement over this time last year, Kallanish calculates.
