China’s steel demand forecasts darken again
Hot on the heels of Chinese domestic analysts, including the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), saying domestic steel output and demand will continue to fall, UBS joined in with its own bleak forecast. UBS also notes that forecasts from BHP Billiton and Rio Tinto are now the optimistic outliers among forecasters, although they were always at the top of the range, Kallanish notes.
