China's Xinyu Steel to produce rare earth steel
China's Xinyu Iron & Steel in Jiangxi Province is speeding up development of rare earth steels and is close to starting commercial production. The steelmaker plans to produce 50,000 tonnes/year of rare earth steels in 2021, Kallanish notes.
