Chinese HRC producers keep May offers stable
Major Chinese flat steel producers have announced their May ex-works offers, with only a few products seeing offers change. Eastern China's Baosteel, central Wuhan Iron & Steel (Wugang) and northeastern Anshan Iron & Steel announced unchanged May hot rolled coil offers after slight increases in April (see table below), Kallanish notes.
Demand for flat products looks stable, with spot market prices increasing slightly around mid-April.…
