Chinese HRC prices struggle to increase
Chinese domestic hot rolled coil prices increased slightly last week on buying activity. Export markets remain quiet however, with prices flat, Kallanish notes.
In Shanghai on Friday afternoon, 5.5x1,500mm Q235 HRC was trading at CNY 4,330-4,340/tonne ($626-628/t), up CNY 10/t from a week earlier.
