Chinese mills lift January 2018 flat steel offers
Several major Chinese steel companies have raised their flat steel ex-works offers for January 2018 by CNY 80-200/tonne ($12.08-30.21/t) after two months with no changes. Mills’ prices have shown a stronger trend than both current spot prices and futures markets as the new year approaches, Kallanish notes.
