Chinese rebar imports said to start selling in Germany
First deliveries of rebar from China may have landed in Germany recently, following the certification of rebar from some Chinese mills.
As Kallanish reported earlier, Chinese mills Laiwu and Chengde have applyied for the technical certification DIN 488, which local German stockists ask for and equivalent to CARES in the UK. The certification was carried out by material testing office Materialprüfungsamt (MPA) North Rhine Westphalia.
