Chinese rebar prices increased further over last week as traders reported good buying levels and confidence despite expectations of slower demand in the coming month. Rebar is now selling at similar prices to cold rolled coil as traders have been buying in eastern China to sell at even higher prices elsewhere, Kallanish notes.
