Chinese steel demand to fall in 2020: MPI
The China Metallurgical Planning and Research Institute (MPI) says it expects Chinese steel production and demand to fall in 2020 after a strong 2019. This is premised on slightly lower construction demand as well as a slowdown in shipbuilding and automotive, Kallanish notes.
