Chinese steel flat as cities eject steelmakers
Chinese steel futures prices moved little on Monday as the momentum of the latest rally has faded but improved sentiment prevented a decline in prices. Hebei province has announced that three cities will be cleared of all steelmakers in the medium term, but the impact on the spot market may be minimal, Kallanish notes.
