Chinese steel futures rebound
Chinese steel futures rebounded on Wednesday after a two day slump, and are now just CNY 10-30/t ($1.44-4.32/t) down from the levels seen before Christmas, Kallanish notes.
The May rebar contract on the Shanghai Futures Exchange closed at CNY 2,989/tonne, up by CNY 58/t, while the same contract for hot rolled coil closed up CNY 77/t at CNY 3,405/t.
