Chinese steel production drops 2.3% in 2015
China produced 803.83 million tonnes of crude steel in 2015, down -2.3% from a year earlier, according to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). The figure leaves apparent demand down -5.44% from a year earlier at 664mt, Kallanish calculates.
