Chinese steel surge continues as output weak
Chinese steel futures prices jumped again on Tuesday as the impact on sentiment of China’s support for the economy continued to be felt strongly. Production data for mid-February meanwhile showed a fall, although this was largely due to the impact of the New Year holidays, Kallanish notes.
