Chinese steelmakers upgrade blast furnaces
The Anhui Provincial Government and the Yunnan Provincial Government recently announced capacity upgrade plans for Anhui Wuhu Xinxing Ductile Pipe and Yunnan Qujing Iron & Steel Group. Both of these steelmakers plan to replace their old blast furnaces with new models, Kallanish notes.
