CIS crude steel output deceases in April
CIS crude steel production decreased in April, according to the latest worldsteel data monitored by Kallanish. Regional output amounted to 7.4 million tonnes, down 3.5% year-on-year.
In January-April, output was also less, by 0.6% on-year at 29mt.
Russian production last month is estimated to have decreased by 5.7% to 6.2mt. In the first four months of the year, output fell 2.5% to 24.6mt.
