CIS crude steel production decreased in February, according to the latest worldsteel data monitored by Kallanish. Regional output amounted to 6.4 million tonnes, down by 21.3% year-on-year.
In January, CIS production was at 6.5mt, down by 25% (see Kallanish passim). In January-February, output was down by 20.7% on-year at 13.3mt.
