CIS crude steel production decreased in August, according to the latest worldsteel data monitored by Kallanish.
Regional output amounted to an estimated 6.9 million tonnes, down by 22.4% year-on-year. During the first eight months of 2022, crude steel production was 59.1mt, down 18.2% on January-August 2021.
