CIS steel output falls, Ukraine’s collapses in April
CIS crude steel production decreased in April, according to the latest worldsteel data monitored by Kallanish.
Regional output amounted to an estimated 7.3 million tonnes, down by 1.4% year-on-year. During the first four months of 2022, crude steel production was 31.3mt, down 11% on January-April 2021.
