CISA members hike steel production in mid-April
China Iron & Steel Association (CISA) member steelmakers hiked their steel production during 11-20 April compared with 10 days earlier, while output decreased year-on-year, Kallanish notes.
Daily crude steel output of CISA members reached 2.12 million tonnes, up 0.33% from early April. Although the trend changed compared with 10 days ago, production levels have barely changed for a month.
On a y-o-y basis, the production volume posted a decrease of 7.47%…
