CISA: US tariffs are 'stupid'
The China Iron & Steel Association (CISA) has made clear its view that new US tariffs on steel and aluminium imports announced last week are counterproductive and will backfire on the US industry. Official comment was limited however as the USA has yet to either make an official announcement or reveal details of its new tariff policy, Kallanish notes.
