CMC announces chief executive’s retirement, succession plans
Commercial Metals Co. (CMC) will appoint its president, Peter Matt, to the position of chief executive officer. This change will go into effect at the beginning of September after the retirement of the company’s current ceo/chairman, Barbara Smith.
