Colorado adopts comprehensive local-first energy bill
Colorado has adopted new rules that give local communities more say in governing the oil and natural gas industry, Kallanish reports.
On Tuesday, Governor Jared Polis signed Senate Bill 19-181 into law, even as efforts spread to attempt to repeal the legislation.
The law, one of the biggest and most controversial bills in recent history, went into effect immediately with the governor’s signature.
