Construction contractors expect increasing profits, despite lower backlogs
Confidence amongst construction contractors in the US has reached its highest level since early last year, despite backlog levels falling from last month.
According to the Associated General Builders and Contractors' (ABC) construction confidence index, contractors' expectations for sales, profit margins, and staffing levels all rose during January after falling in the prior month.
