Construction, mechanical engineering lift Mechel BMK shipments
Russian miner and steelmaker Mechel's Beloretsk steelworks (BMK) increased shipments in October, the company says.
BMK shipped over 37,000 tonnes of hardware, up by 5% on-year, Kallanish notes. The main markets were companies in the mechanical engineering and construction industries.
Hardware for the manufacture of reinforced concrete products and structures saw sales grow by 48% and 30% respectively.
