Vulcan flat steel mill construction begins in Oman
Vulcan Green Steel, Jindal Shadeed Iron Steel (JSIS)’s subsidiary, has laid the foundation stone for its flat steel investment in the Special Economic Zone at Duqm (Sezad), Oman, notes Kallanish.
The direct reduced iron-based plant will have the flexibility to move from natural gas to green hydrogen feed when it becomes available in sufficient amounts.
