Costly inputs pressure Indian steelmakers, exports compensate: Ind-Ra
High raw material prices and consequently steel prices could dampen volume growth and moderate margins since Indian steelmakers may find it challenging to pass on the cost inflation completely, says India Ratings and Research (Ind-Ra). The credit rating agency has therefore maintained a neutral outlook on the steel sector for the fiscal year through March 2023 (FY23).
