CSAPL swings to profit but faces rising costs
Pakistan-based steel producer Crescent steel and allied products (CSAPL) returned to profit for the nine months ended March 2024, reporting an after tax profit of PKR 1.0435 billion.
The company had reported an after-tax loss of PKR 102.3 million in the previous year. The reversal was mainly attributed to CSAPL’s steel division and due to dividends from investments, notes Kallanish.
