CSN agrees to supply Glencore 13mt iron ore
Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional (CSN) says it will supply almost 13 million tonnes of iron ore through its mining arm CSN Mineração to Glencore over four years.
The Brazilian company concluded negotiations for a new long-term agreement with the global commodity trader and miner on 16 January, it says in a note seen by Kallanish.
As announced last December, the value of the supply is $500 million. The new contract commences in 2024.
