Increased shipments boost CSN's 2020 earnings
Brazil’s Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional (CSN) saw its main financial indicators increase in 2020. These were supported by higher steel production and sales, Kallanish learns from the company’s fourth-quarter report.
CSN's 2020 slab production totalled 3.49 million tonnes, up 1.6% year-on-year. Flat-rolled steel output was almost flat at 3.37mt, while long-rolled steel production fell 3.1% to 216,000t.
