CSN to hike steel prices further for April
Brazil's Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional (CSN) is increasing its steel prices for domestic end users and distributors, Kallanish notes. New levels should enter into force from 1 April.
“We are raising prices of long products by 15%, while offers for flat and galvanized steel will go up by 10% and 11.25%, respectively,” CSN commercial director Luis Fernando Martinez told Brazilian financial paper Valor.
