CSP’s March slab exports improve on-month
Brazilian slab producer Companhia Siderúrgica do Pecém (CSP) saw its shipments abroad rise in March, Kallanish notes. Exports, however, were far from those registered a year earlier.
According to data issued by the local port authority, CSP’s March slab exports reached 172,793 tonnes, up 20.2% on-month. However, they were down 34.1% versus the 262,290t shipped in March 2021.
Three-month slab exports reached 585,054t, down 10.8% or 70,569t less…
