Danieli bags new Morocco meltshop order
Italy’s Danieli tells Kallanish that it has bagged an order for a new meltshop for Riva Industries in Morocco. The package includes an electric arc furnace and a billet casting machine.
The facility will be installed in the Medz Industrial Park of Jorf Lasfar, Morocco, beside an existing rolling mill. The new plant is intended to produce 800,000 tonnes/year of 130x130mm to 200x200mm billets, the technology supplier says.
