Demand, exports spur Hoa Phat's January sales
Vietnam's leading steel producer saw a year-on-year increase in steel sales in January due to strong demand. Construction steel exports meanwhile trebled.
In January, Hoa Phat Group achieved a crude steel output of 707,000 tonnes, up 5% y-o-y, Kallanish notes. Sales reached 631,000t, including construction steel, billet, and hot rolled coil.
