Dillinger completes upgrade for wind power plate
With the upgrade of a slab pusher furnace, Dillinger has expanded its offering of ultra-heavy plate for offshore wind projects, the German platemaker tells Kallanish.
The completion of the €26 million ($28m) investment means that Dillinger can now produce even larger volumes of ultra-heavy steel plate and using a more sustainable process.
