Dillinger subsidiary supplies monopiles for wind farm
Steelwind Nordenham, a subsidiary of German platemaker Dillinger, has signed an agreement for the manufacture and delivery of steel monopile foundations for the He Dreiht offshore wind farm.
Steelwind will supply 64 monopiles for the North Sea wind farm, each with a length of approximately 70 metres, a diameter of 9.2 metres and a weight of up to 1,300 tonnes. The plate will come from Steelwind’s parent company, Dillinger, with production scheduled to start …
