DMZ output falls in December, rises in 2023
Ukraine's Dneprovskiy Steel Mill (DMZ), part of DCH Group, decreased steel production in December compared to the previous month.
Last month, DMZ produced 5,200 tonnes of rolled steel, down by 35% compared with November and 27% less on-year, Kallanish notes.
In 2023, the plant produced 105,600t of finished steel, up 86.2% compared to 2022, which was impacted by downtime amid the outbreak of war in Ukraine.
