Domestic rebar prices stay steady on slow sales
The US rebar market remains quiet, Kallanish reports. Slow sales, bad weather and strong inventories have resisted upward pressure on prices since autumn.
Sources in the Midwest and on the East Coast confirm that the status quo has a strong hold on current rebar prices. Prices for #4 rebar in 20-foot lengths are holding steady between $710-720/short ton.
